20 February 2018Dairy-Tech show

At the beginning of February we were lucky enough to exhibit at a new show; The Dairy-Tech Show, which was held at the NAEC, Stoneleigh Park. The show was a platform for agricultural companies to display innovation as a solution that can be applied to a variety of farming systems.

It was a well attended show with over 18,000 people attending the one day event which in itself speaks a thousand words.

We used the platform to repeat our message they we tell people daily, choosing to show how co-product feeds can be used on farms to reduce feed costs whilst increasing performance, thus improving production efficiency.

We not only did this in the normal way but we also used an interactive element in order to get visitors involved and engaged, we displayed a variety of co-product feeds, which are all sold directly to farm customers as an element of their livestock’s ration, and are also used in the creation of our own moist blends at our blend site.

On our stand we gave visitors the opportunity to create their own moist blend, we used a blender as our to scale mixer wagon, table spoons as our loaders and jam jars as our feed bays. This got people involved and enabled visitors to understand how the products are combined to make a moist blend.

We market moist blends to customers who are after the ‘all-in-one’ solution as well as a dry blend alternative.

The feeling around the show was positive, and it was clear to see that the people who attended were actively looking to see how innovation could improve the on farm efficiencies in some way, and at Duynie we understand just how important it is to always be seeking to continually improve.

We thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition and we will attend again next year.

If you weren't able to attend the show and would like information on how Duynie can work with you to achieve your goals please do not hesitate getting in touch.
